Introducing Wellington IT’s API Gateway

At Wellington IT, we firmly believe in supporting our customers’ growth agendas by building a scalable Credit Union ecosystem. This is achieved by partnering with like-minded organisations that share our vision and passion for the sector, and by leveraging technology and infrastructure that enable and support scalable systems integration.

While Wellington IT has always embraced an open integration approach, we have recently focused on developing and implementing a standardised method for the technical delivery of future integrations. This open and standardised approach is essential for supporting our Credit Unions as they build out their strategies, offering them flexibility and choice within the wider ecosystem.

The API Gateway delivers business process microservices, allowing the Wellington IT core system functionality to be extended through APIs to integrate with third-party systems. At launch, it will support a range of integration capabilities, including:
